About me

I’m a trainee clinical psychologist, studying at Salomons, Canterbury Christ Church University. The views on this site are my personal views and do not necessarily reflect those of Canterbury Christ Church University.

My major research project looks at art interventions for people with dementia and their carers. The intervention I am researching is based on an Android tablet platform, and involves looking at art. I am working with the Alzheimer’s Society.

I have worked in mental health in various roles for several years, and hope to be a thoughtful, versatile clinical psychologist, working to make a difference in clinical settings and beyond. I have a keen interest in community psychology and would like to be as involved with this as possible. I also have a firm belief that clinical psychologists need to work to raise their profile in the public consciousness, and help people understand what we can offer.
